Born out of a passion to preserve the artisans’ age-old art forms, the purpose and vision of artisanscottage is to provide an interactive and collaborative platform which presents a visual narrative of the cultures, crafts, and the artisans in an effort to bring forth the stories of the crafts and the people for us to appreciate and preserve. Some of these crafts and skills are on the verge of dying, however, the passion for continuing these crafts is still alive in the craftspeople and the organisations associated with them and needs a voice that can help preserve these for the future generations to cherish.

 The effort through this medium is to provide a space for artisans, designers and other organisations to share their individual stories to help create an awareness of the craft and their extraordinary journey to help preserve it, ensuring their tales continue to be told, and passed on to future generations.
